Vanarin

ARTIST — pop, electronic, rock

Vanarin is a Anglo-Italian band that was formed in July, 2016, by English Singer-songwriter David Paysden and Italian musician Marco Sciacqua. The band consists of David Paysden(Vocals, synths, guitar), Marco Sciacqua(Backing vocals, guitar), Giuseppe Chiara(Vocals, synths, guitar), Massimo Mantovani(Vocals, bass, guitar) and Marco Brena(Drums, percussions).

The band is well-known for their energetic performances and elaborate 4-part harmonies. Vanarin work together in developing the songs composed primarily by three of its members: David Paysden, Giuseppe Chiara and Massimo Mantovani. Each musician plays more than one instrument and thus musical roles are interchangeable, with the songwriter taking lead vocals.
They work towards a unique sound, integrating everyone’s input during the creative process, respecting differences in taste and working towards an innovative result that maintains a Pop edge.

The band released their first EP “Vanarin EP” on 6 January 2017, and played 50 gigs all around Italy, opening up for important acts such as Thurston Moore, Fast Animals and the Slow Kids, C + C = Maxigross and Pan Del Diavolo. Following the tour, with the support of their manager Roberta Sammarelli, the band got to work on their first Album “Overnight” on Woodworm label. The album came out on 23 March 2018.
