MIL Lisbon: here are the Italian artists playing at the festival

MIL Lisbon will take place from the 27th to the 29th of March in the beautiful Portuguese capital.

MIL – Lisbon International Music Network is a festival and convention focused on spreading current music to new markets worldwide. Once again, Lisbon is the stage for this showcase festival which gathers dozens of industry agents from around the world.

As an exchange platform, MIL promotes an artistic program involving the city and combining discussions, masterclasses, meetings and concerts.
Its main focus is introducing a diversity of Portuguese and international artists and projects linking the European, African and South American music markets altogether.

Here are the Italian artists playing this year edition:

Bruno Belissimo

Bruno Belissimo is an Italo Canadian producer and one-man band. Being an active presence in the Italian music scene throughout the years, the first album was released in 2016. The sound of Bruno Belissimo mixes the rhythms of funk, italo disco, deep house with vintage synths, sax, awesome bass lines and minimalist beats.

M¥SS KETA is the angel that wears sunglasses, always veiled. Her hidden identity is the best way to say the truth, because ‘not having a face allows to have a bit of M¥SS in each of us’.

Performer, a rapper with a punk attitude, pop icon and definitive diva. M¥SS KETA is from Milan, and it couldn’t be otherwise. As a true leader, she leads a squat that goes by the name of ‘the girls from Porta Venezia’, eager girls as Varla’s ones in ‘Faster, Pussycat! Kill, Kill!’ by Russ Meyer. More seductive but less dangerous. With her girls, M¥SS KETA sets on fire the stages of the biggest festivals and club of Italy in jubilation of techno, house, dubstep, rap that it feels like it’s coming straight out of her body.

Esc is a chameleonic piano performer singer-songwriter. A slice of a guitar player, a biking-singer.
Don’t be confused and surprised but Esc usually performs in an olympian swimsuit. Also, she has collaborated with a lot of artists, one of them Vincent Moon.
