Mondo NYC is around the corner, from the 13th to the 16th of October, the North-American conference and music showcase festival will be virtual, presented as an interactive meeting and livestream around the world.
Besides the panel programme featuring more than 100 leading music, arts, media and tech executives and entrepreneurs from around the world, Mondo NYC will feature international breakthrough artists streamed via their multiple channels. At this 2020’s edition, two Italian acts will showcase their talents: the alt/rock band Piqued Jacks and the DJ/producer PreciousLand.
Piqued Jacks
Piqued Jacks are pure energy alt/rock band from Italy. Their latest album The Living Past, produced by Dan Weller (Enter Shikari, Young Guns) has been critically-acclaimed both by national (“Every song is a potential hit” – Classic Rock Magazine) and foreign press (BBC Radio and Kerrang! Radio). The launch singles are “Loner VS Lover” and “Eternal Ride of a Heartful Mind;” its music video has been awarded at festivals all around Europe and North America.
Already working on their next chapter, in 2021 the Piqued Jacks will be playing at notable showcase festivals such as MMB in Bucharest, Musexpo L.A. and Canadian Music Week.
PreciousLand
PreciousLand is an Italian DJ/Producer (born 13 September 1982), musically characterized by progressive and deep house genres. His name is derived from the Depeche Mode track “Precious” and “Land” as the underlying idea to gather music and the Italian landscape, promoted through his music videos. He started to work as a DJ in 1997 after studying guitar and violin. Since then he has been invited by many Italian clubs and festivals. He’s an electronic dance music lover who expresses his emotions and feelings through it, playing often on very simple but impactful melodies.
