On January 14th, Capitol Music France and Sugar Music announced an international partnership to develop the musical project of Italian artist Madame in France. Now this collaboration has officially kicked off with the single “Tu m’as compris” feat. Hatik.
Born in 2002, Francesca Calearo, known professionally as Madame, is an Italian rapper and singer-songwriter. In 2019, at the age of 16, she gained popularity when her single Sciccherie was shared by Cristiano Ronaldo on his Instagram profile. Then, she released several singles as a lead singer and collaborations with some of the most successful and important Italian artists. Madame competed in the 71st Sanremo Music Festival in March 2021: she became the first female rapper to participate in the contest’s main section. Her entry Voce and her self-titled debut album achieved the top of Italian charts but her name began to get known internationally.
Madame’s career in France
Today, it’s finally out Tu m’as compris, Madame’s first international single featuring the French artist Hatik. It is the new version of her well-known track, Tu mi hai capito featuring Sfera Ebbasta. Tu m’as compris represents the beginning of Madame’s career in France: she will release until this year an EP entirely in French and we can’t wait to listen to it!
