Four brilliant Italian artists will be playing at The Great Escape, the festival for new music!
About The Great Escape
The Great Escape is a festival created to promote new music, giving 500 emerging artists from all over the world the opportunity to perform in more than thirty venues around Brighton, England. This year’s edition will be held from the 11th to the 14th of May.
The event is classified as the major occasion to discover new artists and bands. Professionals of the music industry also attend the various conferences, panels and speeches planned, benefiting from the concurrent networking opportunities.

Included in this year’s line-up there are also two Italian artists, Alice Pisano and Her Skin, and two Italian bands, Peaks! and Westfalia. They will be performing at Patterns Upstairs venue on Thursday 12th May.

Her Skin melancholic melodies are blended with intimate lyrics describing the uncertainty of being in her 20s. The artist has published her first album in 2018 and is now releasing her second album.

Alice Pisano is an Italian singer and songwriter now based in London. Her soft-pop songs have been playing on BBC Radio London and have entered the iTunes Pop Charts; Alice has also been collecting Spotify editorial support.

Peaks! are an Alt rock duo from Turin making modern base tracks with fuzzy guitars and exciting hooks. Their lyrics touch several themes and express feelings of rage, hope and intimacy.

Westfalia have taken inspiration from the famous Volksvagen van when choosing their name. They mix Soul, black music, and acid-jazz, creating a sound that will mesmerize fans of the Underground scene, enticing new legions of listeners.
