The Folk Alliance International Conference, presented by Folk Alliance International, is the world’s largest gathering of the folk music industry and community (crossing a diverse array of genres including Appalachian, Americana, Blues, Bluegrass, Celtic, Cajun, Francophone, Global Roots, Indigenous, Latin, Old Time, Traditional, Singer-Songwriter, and Spoken Word).
This year, it will take place in Montréal from the 13th to the 17th of February.
Three Italian acts will be showcasing at FAI 2019: Fabrizio Cammarata, Kalàscima and Ilaria Graziano & Francesco Forni.
Fabrizio Cammarata
Fabrizio Cammarata tells intimate stories of love and loss. He conjures fantasies containing light and shadow, tales of his experiences of travel and from his hometown of Palermo, Sicily. Sharing stages with Ben Harper, Patti Smith, Daniel Johnston, Damien Rice and Villagers he has honed his uniquely romantic interpretation of Indie-Folk. At Folk Alliance he presents his upcoming album “Lights”, due March 29th.

Ilaria Graziano & Francesco Forni propose a show made of folk, blues and dolce vita. An amazing duo singing in English, French, Spanish and surely, their own native language, Italian.
