Less than two months until we gather in Brighton for one of the most thrilling showcase festivals in Europe: The Great Escape (17th-19th May).
The Great Escape announced today a new bunch of 100 more artists to the festival line-up. Among them, we find two Italian artists: Fabrizio Cammarata and Husky Loops. Adding them to the already announced JoyCut, the Italian presence at the Brighton’s festival is now at 3 artists/bands.

JoyCut’s last album ‘PiecesOfUsWereLeftOnTheGround‘ took the band to new heights, evidenced by the album’s continued success, with a never-ending festival tour of over 300 dates across North America, Asia and Europe, culminating in a Top 5 European Talent Exchange Programme [ETEP] position. Following a scintillating TEDx performance in Verona, JoyCut played a sold-out Venice: La Biennale show debuting its new “Opera” in six acts K O M O R E B I: a soundtrack tribute to Japan.
JoyCut are now in the studio creating their fourth album for a spring 2018 release.

Singer-Songwriter Fabrizio Cammarata tells intimate stories of love and loss through his distinctive soulful voice and elegant guitar mastery, mesmerizing audiences from stages great and small across the globe. Fabrizio conjures fantasies containing light and shadow, passionate tales of his experiences of travel and from his hometown of Palermo, Sicily.
Sharing stages with the likes of Ben Harper, Patti Smith, Daniel Johnston, Emiliana Torrini, he has honed his uniquely romantic interpretation of indie-folk. A life lived is condensed into the new album “Of Shadows”, that was produced with Dani Castelar (Paolo Nutini, Editors, REM) and released on 800A/Kartel Music Group and Haldern Pop Recordings on November 17th 2017. His songs gained international radio airplay and led to media attention from Drowned in Sound, Clash, Popmatters.
Husky Loops

WAGNER HALL 8:00pm Thursday 17th May
Husky Loops are Pier Danio Forni, Pietro Garron and Tommaso Medica, three guys from Bologna living in London. Their post-punk band is fast becoming the UK’s city current most exciting prospect. Husky Loops sound is a mix of indie rock magnificently dirtied with post-punk.
They are now working on the new studio album with Tommaso Colliva.
